I was born in Ukraine, during a period of transition marked by the shift from a closed world to a gradual opening toward freedom of expression. This experience has deeply shaped my perspective and artistic sensibility.

Educated in architecture and landscape design, my work initially developed through technical drawing and freehand sketching. These practices fostered a strong attention to structure, line, and spatial relationships. Painting later became a more open field of exploration, allowing me to move beyond formal rigor toward a more intuitive and personal mode of expression.

My pictorial practice has evolved over time, from gouache to acrylic, and today focuses primarily on watercolor enriched with Chinese ink. These media allow me to explore transparency, contrast, and rhythm, creating sensitive atmospheres and inner landscapes. This approach extends my architectural and landscape-trained eye while opening a space that is more spontaneous and poetic.

Through painting, I seek to translate emotional states and fleeting impressions, situated between observation of the real and imagined evocation.
