Visual Artist

Oxana Feofilaktova is a visual artist born in Ukraine and based in Paris. Her work exists at the intersection of architecture, landscape, and painting, shaped by an international and multidisciplinary background.
She received her education in architecture at the Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture (Dnipro, Ukraine), and later took part in the European Tempus exchange program between Ukraine, Belgium, and France. This period marked her first immersion in Europe and played a decisive role in the expansion of her artistic perspective.
She subsequently continued her studies at the National School of Landscape Architecture in Versailles (CESP), becoming the first Ukrainian student to attend this program. For over fifteen years, Oxana Feofilaktova worked as an architect and later as a landscape designer in Ukraine and France. Her practice encompassed urban planning, private gardens, green roofs, hotels, and public spaces, both within agencies and as an associate. Throughout this time, drawing and painting remained a constant parallel practice.
Oxana Feofilaktova exhibited in Ukraine in the early 2000s and, from 2000 to 2021, completed numerous private commissions. She has also taught landscape drawing to architects and landscape designers.
In January 2025, she chose to dedicate herself fully to her artistic practice. She now works primarily with watercolor enriched with Chinese ink, following a pictorial path that began with gouache and later acrylic. Her work explores themes of landscape, memory, and travel, situated between observation of the real and inner evocation.
She is currently preparing her first personal collection and exhibition, Travel Sketchbook, conceived as an invitation to visual wandering. Her works aim to offer viewers an immersive experience, akin to reading or moving through a space, where the gaze can circulate freely.
